ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

the builders circle foundation accessibility statement

Effective Date: April 2026

1. Commitment to Accessibility
The Builders Circle Foundation ("Foundation") is committed to ensuring that its website
at www.thebuilderscirclefoundation.org ("Site") is accessible to all individuals, including
persons with disabilities. We recognize that digital accessibility is essential to fulfilling
our mission of empowering healthy communities and ensuring equitable access to
information about our programs and services.

2. Applicable Standards
The Foundation strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
Version 2.1, Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The
Foundation also endeavors to comply with the requirements of Title III of the
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), 42 U.S.C. 12181 et seq. These standards require
that web content be:

23. Perceivable: Information and user interface components must be presentable to
users in ways they can perceive.
24. Operable: User interface components and navigation must be operable by a range
of input methods.
25. Understandable: Information and the operation of the user interface must be
understandable.
26. Robust: Content must be interpretable reliably by a wide variety of user agents,
including assistive technologies.

3. Current Accessibility Measures
In pursuit of the above standards, the Foundation has implemented or is actively
working to implement the following:

27. Providing text alternatives for all non-text content, including images and
graphics
28. Ensuring sufficient color contrast between foreground text and background
elements

29. Structuring content with proper heading hierarchy to support screen reader
navigation
30. Ensuring all interactive elements and forms are accessible via keyboard
navigation
31. Labeling all form fields and controls with descriptive, programmatically
associated text
32. Conducting periodic reviews of Site content to identify and remediate
accessibility barriers

4. Platform Limitations
The Site is hosted on the Wix website platform. Certain accessibility features are
dependent on Wix underlying technology and platform-level implementation. While
the Foundation works within the constraints of its platform to maximize accessibility,
some elements may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. The
Foundation is committed to ongoing remediation efforts as platform capabilities evolve.

5. Feedback and Accommodation Requests
The Foundation welcomes feedback from users who encounter accessibility barriers on
the Site. If you experience difficulty accessing any content or functionality, or if you
require information in an alternative accessible format, please contact us using the
information below. We are committed to responding to all accessibility inquiries and
accommodation requests within five (5) business days.
